• POA (Price on application) can only be given once we have a thorough understanding of what you require, hence the label (POA).
• A Static Package is web pages in which the content stays the same, it does not change. These packages can be used by anyone for any purpose- business or private.
• A Dynamic Package is web pages that do change as the underlying database which feeds the data changes, either from data input from you or from your users. Dynamic Pages also change due to calculations and other processes you might require. These packages can be used by anyone for any purpose- business or private.
• Flash is an interactive multimedia design tool used in web development, any kind of animation and music can be built into it and it also has the ability to be dynamic or static. Flash web sites are very eye catching, and are built to entertain and impress. Flash uses its own programming language in order to make things work, called action script. These packages can be used by anyone for any purpose- business or private.
• Please also note the column below to see which services apply to the above mentioned packages.

Please note the following with regards to website hosting:

• We do not force our clients to do business with us. You have absolute freedom in our deals. You do not get locked into contracts with us.
• There is no minimum contract period for a hosting contract. The contract is ongoing from month to month, until it is cancelled.
• Domain registration is not included in the Home Page Package, it is charged separately.

Please note the following with regards to website photography.

• The travel charge is for traveling to and from the location of the photo shoot. Our offices are in Bellville, all traveling is calculated from and to there. The hourly rate is applicable from time of arrival, when the equipment has been set, and we are ready to start shooting, till the actual photo shooting is done and completed.
• The hourly rate is not charged while we are traveling; only the travel charge is applicable to the traveling part of the travel to and from the photo shoot.
• If the traveling distance exceeds a total estimated traveling time of 6 hours or more (return) , hotel and overnight accommodation charges will be applicable.
• Please keep in mind, we strive to be reasonable at all times with our costing, on negotiation we could very well come to a different agreement.
• Estimating photography times and traveling is not an exact science, the above table is only a guideline to inform you. When in doubt, best is to contact us. If you have any additional requirements or enquiries, please contact us for a free consultation and quote.

A Page

A page is defined as the size of a A4 page when in printed format. It is a flexible guide, and will depend on the level of detail required to do your layout and design. In other words, if the page is the size of 1 and half A4 pages when printed, but the layout and design process is not heavily time consuming, it still will be counted as one A4 page. We strive to be reasonable and flexible with these guidelines. This kind of information will be much easier to provide to you once we have had a consultation with you and have a good understanding of exactly what it is you require.

Banner

Banner refers to the graphic that is displayed at or near the top of each page identifying that page with a styled, unique and appropriate label. On this page at the top you will find a graphic saying pricing, on this page that is the banner. The banner does not have to be at the top, you can have it anywhere you please.

Navigation Buttons

These are the styled buttons you click on to move from one section of the website to the next. In the case of QuarterShark, the buttons are graphics at the top of the page carrying the following labels Home – Services – Pricing – Photography – Contact Us and Questions.

Animations

These are graphics that change or move or do anything that is of a non static nature. When we talk about an animated banner, we still mean the banner as explained above on this page. The only difference is that this banner will have graphics - text and color effects applied to it that could be constantly changing to create a variety of illusions. Its also better known as special effects. An example, the text on the banner of this page that says pricing could be jumping up and down, changing color at the same time. There also be some form of movie playing anywhere on this page. That would be considered an animation. Button animations usually refers to button changing when ever the user interacts with it. It could be changing color, do some special tricks, anything that will make it non-static and visually more pleasing.

Logo

A Logo refers to that unique graphic that was designed to identify your company, business or brand. In the case of QuarterShark, it is the six sided graphic at the left most top of the page and also situated at the right most bottom of the page. A logo is a symbol of your company that visually displays what your company or business values, does and so much more . It has to have a sense of style to it that suits the business brand you are taking to the world.

Pictures

Obviously we include the layout of pictures into the design of your website. We do not limit the number of pictures you can put on a page, or the numbers of pictures per product. Keep in mind that whatever it is you want us to do, the design prices are given per page, of which a page is approximately a printed A4 size. 
You can fit in as many pictures into that space as you desire. Including too many pictures into page is not advisable, since it drastically reduces the loading speed of that page.
